Senior Account Manager
Jamie joined iNHouse from the TikTok Public Policy team. While at TikTok, Jamie advised on government relations projects across the UK and Europe, and led on the operations of the department.
Jamie worked in Parliament between 2017 and 2021 for a number of MPs, including a Shadow Health and Social Care Minister, a Shadow Local Government Minister, and members of the Health and Social Care Select Committee, steering them through challenging political environment, including Brexit and the pandemic. Jamie secured national media coverage for parliamentary campaigns on issues including maternity rights, the early years, hate crime, and the Government’s handling of the pandemic. He was also part of delivering national and regional media events including Shadow Cabinet rallies, Labour’s manifesto launch and a cross-party event with party leaders about the Brexit negotiations.
Jamie has been a key campaign member during one Labour leadership contest and two general elections. These roles in the Labour party included overall management of a marginal seat, where Jamie led on planning, messaging, strategy, press, and field organisation.
Jamie has a degree in French and Politics from the University of Leeds – a programme which included working as an English teacher in France for a year. Jamie has also previously served as a trustee for charities focused on higher education and housing.
