What can people expect from the iNHouse Lounge this year?

By the time conference arrives, it will have been 18 months since we have welcomed guests, friends, and colleagues to the iNHouseLounge. The most exciting thing about conference and the iNHouse Lounge this year is that we can get back to doing the things we enjoy and have missed so much. With so many opportunities for businesses and individuals on the horizon, the iNHouse Lounge this year offers the perfect opportunity to network, rekindle old friendships, and create new ones. We expect it to be our most popular year yet!

What are your most memorable moments from conference?

Firstly, getting the now PM to serve coffees behind the bar was a highlight. Secondly, one of the highlights was landing an exclusive interview with the chancellor, Rishi Sunak, after his speech at the first online conference. I wouldn’t just consider this a memorable moment at conference, but a highlight of my career. However, every year, my favourite part of conference must be the Karaoke party.

What is your favourite part of the job?

It has to be creating memorable events that make a difference. A highlight for me was bringing Plasticus (the whale) to parliament for the Sky Ocean Rescue Campaign. We were able to get over 100 MPs to sign up to #PassOnPlastic. One of the proudest things that I have been part of at iNHouse has been setting up and running the UK Women’s Parliamentary Football club. It has had many memorable moments, including arranging the first female parliamentary football match at party conference, where former female England players managed the team.
