iNHouse Communications events programme for Conservative Spring Forum hit the headlines on Friday with an exclusive interview with Chancellor Rishi Sunak featured in The Sun and The Telegraph. Our ‘View from the Chair’ event with Select Committee chairs, Tom Tugendhat MP, Caroline Nokes MP, Rob Halfon MP, Greg Clark MP featured in The Independent.

As the official fringe partner of the Conservative Spring Forum, iNHouse put together an engaging line-up of virtual events to cover issues such as transport innovation, the role of life-sciences in the post-pandemic recover, delivering affordable housing to Build Back Better and even the Chancellors view on his nickname ‘dishy Rishi’!

In the View from the Chair, we heard directly from Tom Tugendhat MP about his feelings on the sanctions imposed on him by China. He told us ‘this isn’t really an attack on me, this is an attempt to make businesspeople and individuals feel extremely nervous about talking about China.’

In the same event, Caroline Nokes MP, Chair of the Women and Equality Select Committe, told the panel she didn’t think the Prime Minister had done enough to get more female representation in senior government roles, rejecting Boris Johnson’s claim to be ‘a feminist’.

iNHouse was delighted once again to welcome an all-female panel of chairs who guided proceedings, including Caroline Wheeler, Hannah El-Othman and interviewers Kate Ferguson and Lucy Fisher.

We look forward to working with our clients and partners on a fresh programme of events as we head towards the Autumn party conferences. For more information on our party conference event packages, please contact Lois Brearly at lois@inhouse.london.
