Best known for our political connectivity, we work across public affairs and media relations in order to deliver for our clients – often producing award winning results. We now need a full time Office Manager to help us make everything run smoothly.
This role is for an enthusiastic, outgoing, self-motivated individual who can make themselves invaluable to the company. Salary dependant on experience, with bonus structure, private healthcare, laptop and phone.
This is an office based role, although you might spend some time at events and occasionally your role may require you to stay overnight, for example during the busy party conference season.
Key tasks
- Greeting clients, both in person or on the phone
- Managing stationery and other office supplies
- Liaising with office supply companies, printer, IT to troubleshoot and ensure smooth running of services
- Assisting with recruitment and onboarding new staff
- Assist with updating HR systems, holiday planning, expenses etc.
- Ensuring office tidy at all times
- Help with diary management, lunch and travel arrangements, for Chair and CEO
- Monitoring subscriptions and other services that staff need to do a good job
- Researching and arranging client and staff benefits such as celebrations, team lunches and award wins etc.
- Printing and collating of documents
- Preparing for large company wide meetings
- Assisting the Head of Event with organising client events and London Lounge
- Assisting our digital team with online PR and social media
- Suggestions and ideas to improve the working environment for staff and clients
Ideal
- Self-motivated individual
- Good knowledge of and interest in UK politics and the media including understanding who-who’s in the Westminster village
- Enjoy meeting people
- Organised and efficient with experience of multitasking
- Previous experience in an office manager or organising role
- First aid and fire warden certificates or experience of training
Essential
- Team player with a can-do attitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Team, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- A brilliant sense of humour
