iNHouse Communications idea for NHBC to hold quarterly journalist briefings around housing registration statistics is the prime driver for NHBC reaching over 180 pieces of coverage in the UK media this week- including the BBC, ITV, The Times, The FT, The Guardian and The Daily Mail.
NHBC reported that new house building figures show that new home registrations have hit their highest level since 2007.
The figures for Q3 2014 reveal that overall new home registrations have increased 8% on the same period last year with the private sector continuing to be the main driver of growth. These figures represent the highest year to date figures and the highest Q3 figures since 2007.
iNHouse Communications were hired by NHBC in January 2013 to raise the profile of the organisation and Chief Executive Mike Quinton in the national media.
iNHouse introduced quarterly journalist briefings for NHBC new housing registration figures which have resulted in a significant increase in media coverage for the statistics. As well as identifying newsworthy content, iNHouse Communications has secured the attendance of key target journalists for the quarterly briefings.
The briefings have also resulted in extensive regional and trade media coverage. The Q3 2014 statistics have been covered by target trade media such as Inside Housing and Housebuilder as well as regional media – including broadcast.
