NHBC, the National House Building Council provides insurance warranties to over 80 per cent of the new-build market in the UK and was one of iNHouse Communications’ founding clients.

We began working with the Corporate Affairs team on a range of political issues. Our work has ranged from sourcing high profile political speakers for events and organising dinners through to managing MP visits to local housing development sites. Our role was extended in 2012 to support NHBC Corporate Communications where we have developed eye-catching consumer and industry campaigns.We have also created media-friendly events which have promoted NHBC’s housing data as a key market indicator and resulted in column inches in all national newspapers as well as leading broadcast appearances.

We enhanced NHBC’s regional coverage, with specifically targeted regional data and media trained/briefed regional spokespeople to provide a locally relevant narrative across the airwaves. When asked to promote the Pride in the Job industry event highlighting excellence in site management, we negotiated a unique feature idea with the Sunday Times (the first of its kind for the paper). The subsequent four-page feature was groundbreaking for all concerned and inspired numerous local media mentions of the award winners.
